Let’s talk about OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) & KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). We know...it sounds horrendous! But man-o-man is it worth tracking these little f*#!ers.

It’s important to measure your marketing efforts. Start by creating objectives with measurable results and then track how you are doing in comparison. This allows you to see where you are going strong and where you may need some work.


Here's an example:


OKR #1

Improve # and quality of visitors to website


KPIs (related to OKR#1)

Increase Web traffic by 15%

Increase time on website by 20%

Publish 3 pieces of content monthly


OKRs and KPIs help you focus your attention by encouraging you to constantly ask the question “does this help us meet our goals?” If not…it gets thrown on the back-burner.
